Not enough time.....
The Freedom of Having No Opinion
Everyone is convinced they don’t have enough time to do fun things. What you may not realize is how much time you devote to judging yourself and others every single day. It’s exhausting. Of course, in our culture we call them “opinions.”
You know what I mean.
Here is a challenge:
I invite you to spend just one day without an opinion about anything. Practice the concept of “It is what it is.”
Notice how much lighter your energy becomes.
To clear your opinions, you have to let your ego rest in the knowledge that it truly is what it is. Your opinion is superfluous. It’s part of the chattering mind. Forgive yourself and others in the understanding that everything is unfolding as it must under these energetic circumstances. If you want change, you must change the energy you are standing in.
Everyone is responsible for their own energy, guilt, and shame. You are only responsible for your own.
Remember when Jesus, the Master Teacher, walked through the marketplace—he saw no sin in anyone, because he was seeing his own reflection. Sadly, many religions these days are focused on judgment.
This is what we do as we move through our lives: we see our reflection. If we judge ourselves, we judge others.
This is my personal practice. When I move through “the marketplace,” I choose to see beauty and purity in everyone I meet. If I see something else, I explore what part of myself is in judgment and how I may be guilty of the same. The moment I forgive myself, the observed is forgiven, and the marketplace is once more populated by my allies—beautiful, creative souls.
If you are ready to release the opinions that have been shaping your life, I would love to support you. My approach to counseling is practical, compassionate, and deeply respectful of your lived experience. Together, we work toward emotional relief, restored energy, and a renewed capacity for connection—starting exactly where you are.
