We Become What We Judge
Essay by Shankari.
WE BECOME WHAT WE JUDGE
This is a Universal Law.
What is a universal law?
A Universal Law is true in all times and all places for all people.
Our judgement on others is so powerful a pattern of behavior, sooner or later we create the opportunity for others to judge us for the same thing.
All our dysfunctional relationships are built on these judgements.
Perhaps you are wondering what is the difference between a judgement and a discernment?
A judgement holds energy. It sits in our gut and makes us uncomfortable. It can sometimes make us angry or sad or feel like a victim.
Where as, discernment is the mind making a choice with no emotional hook.
When you find yourself in judgement on others in the future take a breath. Name it clearly and look around you for those that judge you for the same thing. This is a humbling practice.
When the judgement is named the forgiveness can start and personal freedom and joy are just around the corner.
If you are struggling with judgement on others or yourself, I would be honoured to walk with you through it. My work is grounded in lived experience, emotional truth, and practical tools that help you release the weight you are carrying and reconnect with your own strength. You do not have to do this alone, and you do not have to stay frozen in pain.
Your life deserves to be enjoyed.
Blazing tales of wonder. Your sister through chaos and comfort. Remembering all we have ever been and are about to become.
Blessings from Shankari.
